ABOUT DINA

About Dina

I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with a Telehealth private practice serving clients in Virginia and North Carolina. My approach is rooted in the belief that you already have the strength and resources within you to heal. Sometimes, you just need the right support to uncover them.

Emotions can feel messy, overwhelming, and even isolating when you’re trying to navigate them on your own. That’s why I’m here: to create a space where you feel safe, understood, and free from judgment. Together, we’ll gently explore the feelings you’ve been keeping tucked away, even the ones you might not fully understand yourself.

Through this process, we’ll uncover the patterns and conflicts that have been holding you back, so you can move forward with clarity and confidence. My goal is to help you create meaningful, lasting change in your life, not by fixing you, but by helping you reconnect with the strength and wisdom that’s already there.

I welcome clients of all sexual, gender, cultural, and spiritual orientations, and I’m committed to providing a space where you feel seen, valued, and supported.

If you’re ready to take that first step, I’d be honored to walk this path with you.

Education & Clinical Training

Dina’s journey into mental health began with a deep commitment to helping others navigate life’s most challenging moments. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Elon University before pursuing her passion for supporting individuals and families at Virginia Tech, where she completed her Master’s Degree in Marriage & Family Therapy.

Over the years, Dina has cultivated a rich and diverse skill set through advanced training in Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy (EFT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Maternal Mental Health through Postpartum Support International, and Brené Brown’s The Daring Way. These approaches form the foundation of her clinical practice, allowing her to tailor her work to meet the unique needs of each client. As a certified yoga instructor, Dina also integrates mindfulness and meditation into her sessions, creating a holistic approach to healing.

Dina’s career began with facilitating domestic violence offender groups in Fairfax County, where she gained invaluable experience addressing complex relational dynamics. She later worked as a youth counselor in an adolescent residential treatment facility, specializing in supporting teens struggling with suicidal ideation and self-harm behaviors. These experiences have shaped her compassionate, grounded approach to therapy, where she creates a safe space for clients to explore, heal, and grow.
